Jailor, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is one of the most anticipated Tamil movies of 2023. Filming for Rajinikanth’s next project is in full swing. The film has been the talk of the town since its release and what excites us the most is the cast and crew of the leading man of Rajinikanth. The latest addition to the cast of the film is Tamannaah Bhatia. According to our sources, Tamannaah recently wrapped up the two-day schedule of the film in Hyderabad.
“Tamannah Bhatia is juggling between shooting two movies – Jailor and Bandra, co-starring Malayalam actor Dileep. After completing the 2 day shoot of Jailer, he moved to Kochi to shoot the new schedule of Malayalam movie Bandra. After this, he will join Rajinikanth and Bandra. The Jailer team is in Chennai for a day of shooting and then there will be another shoot in March-April,” a source close to the development revealed.
Expressing her happiness at being a part of such mega-projects, Tamannaah recently said, “A busy year is just a blessing. I’m just switching from one character to another with a grueling schedule. While it can be exhausting at times, it is extremely rewarding as there are people who are looking forward to seeing me on the big screen and that is what makes me love my job more than anything else and work hard.”
With projects like Amazon Prime’s Ji Karda, Netflix’s Lust Stories, Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar, Jailor and many more, we will see Tamannaah Bhatia in different roles from each other.
Speaking of Jailor, it is an upcoming Tamil action comedy that also stars Mohanlal and Siva Rajkumar in pivotal roles. Mohanlal recently joined Rajinikanth in the Hyderabad schedule.
Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, Jailor’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Jailor is expected to hit big theaters in the summer of 2023. The film’s all-star cast just keeps getting bigger and better. Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, and Vasanth Ravi are also part of the highly anticipated Tamil film.

Does Jailor have a new release date?
Meanwhile, speculation abounds that the Rajinikanth lead has been postponed. After his latest film, Beast, director Nelson Dilipkumar doesn’t want to rush into post-production work and is taking his time to complete shooting on his ambitious film. However, the creators will soon give an official statement on the matter.
