Etawah. From the city to the rural areas, from Friday morning till night, grand statues of Shri Ganesh, the first revered deity and the giver of Riddhi Siddha, were enshrined in homes and temples with the echoes of Ganpati Bappa Moria’s cheers.
The installation of statues in public places could not be done due to lack of administrative permission. At the same time, 85th Ganesh Festival started with the installation of a grand statue of Ganesh ji at Shrikali Bari temple located on Gwalior Road. Mahant Shivanand Maharaj did worship and aarti. Prasad was also distributed.
The Sindhi society established a grand Ganesh idol in the Shrijhulelal temple located in the Sindhi colony near the district jail. Pandit Raj Kumar Sharma offered prayers.
After the installation of the statue, the people of Sindhi society worshiped Ganesh ji with devotion and prayed to maintain happiness and prosperity in the family.
Here the President of Sindhi Samaj Samiti, Fatturam Bhojwani, Lali Boolani, Keshav Das Daswani, Pappan Sindhi, Gurmukh Lekhwani, Jai Kumar, Harish Chandra Boolani, Govardhan Daswani, Manoj etc. were present.
The ninth Ganesh festival started on behalf of the Om Utsav Organizing Board at SD Field in the city. After the worship, the idol of Ganesh ji was installed.
During this, Basant Mishra, Joni Yadav, Dr. TS Tyagi, Vishal Saxena, Bablu Daswani etc. were present. A Ganesh idol was installed in the house of Hariom Pratap Singh, the organizer of the Ganesh festival at Devalaya Dham in Chauhan Colony. Children also participated in the worship.
