Etawa. On Thursday, the disappearance of BDC Ram Karan Baghel from Bahuri Village in Badhpura Police Station took a new turn. The police found Rambaghel in Etawah itself.
Late in the evening, the BDC issued a written statement in court that he had driven the truck of his own free will. He wasn’t kidnapped. According to the BDC’s statement, there was a dispute between the SP and BJP people on the court premises.
SP City and CO City, who got on the information, calmed the matter down. The police are investigating the whole matter. The father of BDC member Ramkaran Baghel had filed a kidnapping report against SP candidate Anand Yadav alias Tanti from the Badhpura block on June 27.
BDC Ramkaran from Bahuri village had gone somewhere in the past without researching it. Nothing about him was known for several days. On Thursday afternoon, Badhpura police discovered Ramkaran while roaming Etawah.
The police then took Ramkaran to the court to record the testimony. In court, Ramkaran denied the story of his own abduction. Said he volunteered to drive the truck.
When they received information about this, BJP MLA Sarita Bhadauria and SP District President Panchayat, Anshul Yadav, came with the party workers on site. Soon the fighting began on both sides.
The police informed their officers about the incident. SP City Prashant Kumar and CO Rakesh Vashishth along with the force got the point and settled the matter. Night-time conversations between the two sides took place in the home of a senior police officer.
