Epfo Adds More Than 15 Lakh Net Subscribers In March Know About First Timers

Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has added 15.32 lakh subscribers in the month of March. This number is 19 percent more than the previous month’s February. If we look at the figures, there has been an increase of 2.47 lakh subscribers in March as compared to February. In February, 12.85 lakh customers were associated with the organization.

In the information shared by EPFO, it was told that in the month of March, the number of such subscribers was 9.68 lakh, who are connected with EPFO ​​for the first time. According to the Ministry of Labor and Employment, about 5.64 lakh subscribers have re-membered EPFO ​​by linking their funds with PF. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Haryana and Delhi have the maximum number of members joining EPFO.

About 10.14 lakh customers were connected to these six states in March, which is 60 percent of the total subscriber count. The report released in this regard said that the number of youth joining the organization has also increased. If we look at the number of members joining EPFO, in the month of March, 4.11 lakh customers in the age group of 22 to 25 years have joined the organization. At the same time, the number of new members in the age group of 29 to 35 years stood at 3.17 lakh.
