On Thursday, 1 lakh 11,000 Cusec of water were released from the Narora dam into the Ganges. As a result, the water level has risen from 135.00 to 135.80 meters. However, the water level is currently below the warning point of 136.60 meters. Due to the rise of the water level, the fertile land of the farmers in villages like Harsinghpur, Kayastha, Ugarpur, Madaiya of Trityam, Jograjpur, Kudri Sarangpur etc. The villagers of Harsinghpur Kayastha fear that the village will be filled with water when the water level of Ganga so continues to rise. All access roads will also be blocked. Village leaders Sudhir Kumar and Narendra Kumar said many people’s homes were cut off last year due to the Ganges flooding, but the Tehsil government has not given land to live.
