As part of the Namami Ganga program, the water from 27 drains in the district that flows into the Ganges will be free of pollutants in 24 months. Let us share that the treatment has now made 10 of the district’s sewers pollutant-free. There are currently 12 drains in the city that are to be made environmentally friendly. 75 crore budget was approved to free the environment. At the same time, work is underway on the sewage treatment plant of five Vindhyachal drains. The construction work is running on a budget of 41 crores. In Vindhyachal, 900 houses compared to 2603 houses were connected to a sewage treatment plant. This work will be 90 percent complete in July. The special thing is that the work organization takes care of the drain for 15 years. He said any kind of negligence in the construction process is unacceptable as modern resources and technology have been used to streamline the wastewater treatment plan to prevent pollution in Ganga.
