Muzaffarnagar. Namaz was offered in mosques and houses on Eid-ul-Azha. This time, too, there was a ban on namaz in Idgah. As a result, the Idgah was locked and the police were deployed. After the prayer, all Muslims prayed for peace in the country. Then the sacrificial ritual was over.
Due to the corona epidemic, the Bakrid festival was also celebrated with social distancing this time. The administration did not allow Namaz to come to Idgah in view of the corona infection. DM Selva Kumari J and SSP Abhishek Yadav were present in Idgah that morning. He inspected security. After that he toured the city. Before eight o’clock in the morning, people were saying oath prayers in houses and mosques around the city.
After the prayers in the mosques, prayers for peace and progress in the country were said. After the prayer, the sacrificial ritual was completed. There was no sacrifice in open places. The police administration stopped in the Muslim settlements of the city such as Khalapar, Laddawala, Kidwainagar, Hauz Wali Masjid, Sarwat, Mahmudnagar etc. Police had been on duty around Idgah and mosques since morning.
