According to DIOS OP Tripathi, a crowd of candidates gathered to give the PET paper at 23 examination centers in and around the city. Following the covid protocol, everyone was allowed to enter the examination hall. The examination was completed in both the shifts amidst tight security arrangements. The DIOS said that 7805 candidates took the exam in the first shift. While 941 remained absent. In the second shift, 7865 people gave the paper. While 878 remained absent. He told that 17489 candidates were registered in the paper of both the shifts, out of which 1819 people were absent. On the other hand, IAS Shiv Sahai Awasthi, an observer nominated by the commission, inspected Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Dharma Sabha Inter College etc.

Shilpi Pandey, a resident of Mohalla Shastri Nagar in the city, told that the paper has been good. Waiting for the result to come. The questions which used to come due to negative marking. Solved them.

Vijay Kumar, a resident of Kamhara, Hargaon, said that there were 100 questions in the paper. There was a lot of strictness at the examination center, even the shoes were taken off. Due to negative marking, only 65 questions were solved.

Maholi resident Suraj Verma told that he gave the paper for the first time. Due to the strictness, the shoes were taken off even the socks outside the examination hall. So far the paper is good.
