On the other hand, farmers are not able to make proper arrangements to protect their crops from diseases due to non-organization of Kisan Mela and exhibition and lack of information. Due to which the farmers are upset. Due to which their crops are getting ruined. In the villages of Gilaula development area, despite having sufficient water in the fields, the outbreak of scorching disease is being seen on the paddy crops. Farmers are upset due to non-availability of medicines at government agricultural godowns. If it is not treated in time, the yield of paddy can be reduced by half. According to agricultural experts, in scorch disease, the tip and edge of the leaves of the paddy start drying up completely. The dried edges become irregular and crooked. In some fields, spots are formed on the leaves. Whose edge becomes dark brown and the middle part becomes light colored. Also, spots are formed on the leaves. In such a situation, farmers should do seed treatment with a suitable method before sowing the seeds. As soon as the symptoms of the disease appear, remove the water from the field as much as possible and spray 15 grams of streptocyclin and copper oxyprolite K-500 grams per hectare.
