Drdo To Set Up Oxygen Plant In District Hospital

Moradabad. In the possible third wave of corona infection, the health department is making preparations to protect patients from lack of oxygen. Under this, the CMO has written a letter to DRDO (Defence Exploration and Development Organization) to set up an oxygen plant in the district hospital. He says that the plant is expected to come in four-five days. In the second wave, the patients in the hospitals had the most trouble in getting beds and arranging oxygen. At the oxygen plants, the attendants used to stand with cylinders, yet oxygen could not be supplied. To avoid these problems, oxygen plants are being installed in four CHCs and district hospitals in Moradabad district. Plants have come up at Dillari and Thakurdwara, while the foundation work in the district hospital is almost complete. Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. MC Garg says that NHI has prepared the base. In two-three days, that plant will be in a fit condition for planting. An oxygen plant of 1000 LPM (liter per minute) capacity is being installed in the district hospital. DRDO is responsible for sending the plant. He said that the work of this plant being set up with PM Care Fund is to be completed in three phases. The first phase has been completed by NHI, while the second phase is the responsibility of DRDO. In the third phase, the work of laying the pipeline is to be done. It is the responsibility of the Housing Development Council to complete this work. The Housing Development Council is preparing a proposal for this. Pipeline is already there in MCH wing. Now the work of connecting the pipeline of the Women’s District Hospital and the work of laying the pipeline in the District Hospital is to be done.
