Etched Solid Waste Management Plant was started in Kidwainagar for waste management. After the closure of the plant of EtoZ Company, it had become a problem of garbage disposal in the city. After this, Chairperson Anju Aggarwal signed a contract with the private company Rolls India Waste Management Pvt Ltd, Ghaziabad for the operation of this plant and it was started by spending one crore rupees, but the negligence of the officers of the municipality and the company did not take interest. After leaving this plant closed again. Due to this the problem of waste disposal of the city has started becoming acute again.
DM Chandrabhushan Singh sought information in this regard from Hemraj Singh, EO of the municipality. During this, nodal officer ADM Administration Amit Singh, Plant Manager Ankit Kumar and Municipal Health Officer Dr Atul Kumar were also present. Expressing strong displeasure over the closure of the garbage plant, the DM directed to start the plant. DM instructed that if the plant is not started soon, then action will be taken.
EO Hemraj Singh said that due to rain, the machine area of ​​the plant is filled with water, while the tin shed is also dripping. There is also the problem of not having a boundary. The DM gave instructions to make arrangements for water withdrawal from the night itself. At the same time, the ADM administration said that a proposal has been made for the plant under the 15th Finance Commission for foundation construction, boundary wall and tin shed. A budget of about Rs 1.5 crore will be spent on this. He said that on the instructions of the DM, the plant would be started soon.
