During the inspection, MLA Manju Tyagi said the 2017-18 project was passed to stop erosion. He claimed that the Department of Irrigation had installed parcopene and geobags as far as the village of Goom. The MLA says the work was not done with Ahirana who says that mud has built up there. The MLA said if the work had been done there would have been no chance of harvest.
On the other hand, DM Dr. Arvind Kumar Chaurasia assured the villagers every possible help. He has instructed the Irrigation Department officials to resolve the problem at the earliest. SP Vijay Dhul, SDM Sadar Arun Kumar Singh, Kanungo Ankit Awasthi, Pradhan Pritam Yadav, Tejlal Nishad, Abhay Yadav etc. were present.
