Five beds will be set up in the center. The number of beds will be increased if necessary. This is where malnourished children are taken in and provided with nutritious food and treatment.
The number of malnourished children is increasing in the district. Against this background, the government is increasing nutritional rehabilitation centers. So that malnourished children can be well fed. In 2017, a nutritional rehabilitation center was initially set up on the premises of the district hospital. Even after this, in view of the increasing number of such children, the health department will set up nutritional rehabilitation centers with five beds in the community health centers Pathardeva, Rudrapur and Pipradhaula Kadam. A facility for malnourished children is being built in the Nutrition Rehabilitation Center of these hospitals and will be ready in ten to fifteen days. Afterwards, malnourished children are taken in and treated here. In addition to the children, good arrangements are made for their parents as well. Thereafter, after admission, free nutritious food is given to the children under medical guidance for 14 consecutive days. Parents of malnourished children also receive a fee of Rs.150 per day.

DPO Krishnakant Rai said that screenings were carried out at Anganwadi centers in June by ASHA and Anganwadi staff. So far 6124 severely malnourished children, 24959 malnourished children and 1942 Sam children, 10253 mother children have been found on the basis of age, height and height.
