Baliya. Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, free ration distribution took place on Wednesday in the form of Anna Mahotsav. During this, a total of 1.33 lakh beneficiaries were given ration kits. There are 1.21 lakh beneficiaries in rural areas and 11 thousand in urban areas. Minister of State (Independent Charge) Upendra Tiwari, Minister of State Anand Swaroop Shukla, Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, DM Aditi Singh and other public representatives distributed ration at the shops. PM Narendra Modi’s interaction with the beneficiaries was telecast live. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the beneficiaries. Minister of State Anand Swaroop Shukla distributed ration at a fair rate shopkeeper located at Gudri Bazar in the city. The ration kit was given in a waterproof bag received by the state government.
