Digital rights of Mahesh Babu-Keerthy Suresh film sold to this platform

Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh’s Sarkaru Vaari Pata is rocking the box office. The curiosity was that on which OTT platform the digital rights of the film would be bought. Well, according to News18, it is Amazon Prime Video that has bought the digital rights of the film. In the past several big budget south films like Pushpa and KGF 2 have been acquired by Manch. This film is going to come on OTT by the first week of June 2022. Sarkaru Vaari Pata is making money at the box office, and the platform has more chances to make money if the OTT release is quick. Sarkaru Vaaru Pata has already earned Rs 75 crore and we will see it cross Rs 100 crore mark by the end of Saturday. Amazon Prime Video bought the rights of KGF 2 for Rs 320 crore. Yash’s film has crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide and is one of the biggest successes of Indian cinema. In 2021, it bought the rights of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa for Rs 27-30 crore. Sarkaru Vaari Pata is a film set against the backdrop of a bank scam. It is directed by Parashuram Petla who made Geeta Govindam with Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. The film has grossed over USD 1.5 million at the box office. Mahesh Babu’s film has so far earned 75 crores worldwide. It is also a huge success in the Nizam belt.
