Did R Madhavan sign a Tamil film with Chiyaan Vikram? Here’s what we know
R Madhavan and Chiyaan Vikram are two powerful players in the Indian film industry. Both actors have made a mark in the industry with their stellar performances and have a huge fan following. Recently, there were rumors that Madhavan and Vikram have signed a Tamil film together, which will be directed by a prominent filmmaker. But it looks like fans will have to wait for their powerful collaboration.
Denying the reports, a source close to R Madhavan was quoted by India Today that no one has approached the actor for such a project so far. It is clearly stated that Madhavan has not signed any Tamil film with Vikram and thus the rumors are groundless. The source also added that Maddy is getting a lot of offers but is still finding the one that suits her best.
Madhavan recently enjoyed the success of his critically acclaimed blockbuster Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. She was last seen in Dhoka-Round the Corner sharing screen space with Aparshakti Khurana, Darshan Kumar and Khushali Kumar. She appeared in the film remake of the wonderful dance number Mere Dil Gaye Jaa from the 1987 film Dance Dance.
Chiyaan Vikram, on the other hand, was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s masterpiece Ponniyin Selvan: I, a period drama based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s Ponniyin Selvan. The film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Rani Nandini and Chiyaan Vikram as Prince Aditya Karikalan, a fierce warrior, and Karthi Vanthiyathevan as a spy playing a grey-shaded role.
