The administration has made preparations to eliminate the Sarsaul fruit market.
City Councilor Vineet Kumar Singh said the administration was preparing a draft to move the Sarsaul fruit market. This market will be set up in Dhanipur’s new fruit vegetable market. The administration has prepared new business there. The auction process for these deals will take place on July 26th from 11am. No fruit wholesaling outside the market is allowed within the boundaries of the municipal corporation and authority. The traders of the Sarsaul fruit market have settled there privately. It has nothing to do with the market committee.
If the traders there do not get into the Dhanipur Naveen Fruit Market, they will have to leave the Municipal Corporation and the Aligarh Development Authority. According to the city’s magistrate, an order has been issued by the level of government ordering that all private mandis across the state be removed. There will be no wholesale of fruits, vegetables and grains outside of the market. This type of business can be done within the market itself so that the general public does not face dirt, congestion and other problems.
