Devotees take a bath in Yamuna on Ganga Dussehra

Baghpat / Agarwal Mandi Tetri. On the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, numerous believers plunged into the Yamuna in the city’s Pakka Ghat on Sunday. At the same time, apart from the temples of the city, special veneration was performed in the cave temple. Bhandara and fresh water were distributed in different places in the city. On the other hand, sorbet was also served by pouring a drink at Agarwal Mandi Tatiri.
On the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, the crowd began to gather at the city’s Pucca Ghat from morning. Believers offer special prayers by taking a bath in the Yamuna. On the other side there was a crowd of devotees on the Ganges Dussehra by the cave temple. Believers who came from near and far prayed in Baba’s temple and asked for their vows. Policemen were stationed at the gate of the temple. People distributed prasad after praying at Pakka Ghat Temple, Thakurdwara Temple, Bageshwar Temple, Shaligram Temple, and Shiv Temple on Meerut Bagpat Street in the city. Fresh water was distributed in various places in the city. Bhandara was organized in Baba Buddharam’s hut in the city’s Kashyap colony.
On the other hand, on the occasion of the Ganga Dussehra in Agrawal Mandi Tatiri, social workers offered a sorbet by pouring themselves a drink in the Holi Chowk Deshwal Patti. Here Kuldeep, Naresh Kumar, Sanjay, Shobhit, Kallu, Billu, Tejpal, Dhanu, Suresh, Nikki worked together.
Ganga was incarnated that day
Jyotisacharya Pandit Rajkumar Sharma related that after the harsh repentance of King Bhagirath on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of the month of Jyeshtha, Mother Ganga descended to earth. On this day it is considered auspicious to donate after a bath in Maa Ganga. On this day, through the giving of sweet water, sattu, the ancestors are happy and salvation is attained.
