At the swearing-in ceremony of the President of Panchayat District and Panchayat Members, the newly elected President of Panchayat District, Dr. VK Singh, from the Deputy CM Keshav built a bridge over the Ganga from Handia to Meja. The deputy CM said that this bridge will not only be available, but that Prayagraj will also receive many more bridges as a gift.The newly elected District President of Panchayat, Dr. VK Singh asked the Deputy Prime Minister for a bridge between Handia and Manda, whereupon the Deputy CM said that this bridge will be available and that Prayagraj will receive the gift of bridges. The deputy CM said that the government will soon lay the foundation stone for the bridge connecting Meja-Handiya. A bridge is also being built on Yamuna to connect South Vidhan Sabha with Bara Vidhan Sabha in Prayagraj.

There are also preparations to build a bridge between Naini and Jhunsi to connect the North Assembly with the South Assembly and to connect the city in the north with the Phulpur Assembly. An overpass of 300 crore is also being prepared in Prayagraj. Flyover will be ready for 1100 crores to connect Kaushambi with Prayagraj. This also includes the construction of a railway bridge, a four-lane road through the airport to Kaushambi.

He said that construction of a six-lane bridge worth two thousand crores has also begun to connect Malak Harhar to City North. Meanwhile, the deputy CM also announced that the work on the first phase of the ring road had been approved. Allegedly, 23 km of road works on the Rampur-Karchana-Chitrakoot road have been approved. The Rewa Road will be connected to National Road 2 (Prayagraj-Varanasi). He assured that in the next few years the city’s airport and Kaushambi could be reached in just 15 minutes by road. He said the government was connecting Pphahamau to Chail through the Ram Path Van Gaman Marg. The deputy CM said the government always spends on the blocks. Last year there was a budget of 500 crores, this time it was increased to 2800 crores.
