Hamirpur. The festival of Guru (Ashadhi) Purnima was celebrated with awe and enthusiasm in the district. The festival was celebrated at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College. Rector Ramprakash Gupta said that in Indian culture the position of the guru is equal to that of the gods. According to the Maudha dialogue, the devotees received the blessing from Matha Tek Guru at the tomb of Paramhans Maharaj in Sisolar. Kanya Bhoj and Bhandara were organized in the ashram. Bhajan kirtan was held until late in the evening. The disciples of Bajrangdas Maharaj arrived at the temple of Bajrang Dham on Kapasa Marg and received blessings by worshiping the Guru. Kanya Bhoj was organized in the Badi Devi temple.
According to the dialogue from Bharuasumerpur, Pt. Baldev Prasad Shastri performed a Havan Yagya and worshiped him in the Virakta Ashram in Taposthali, the center of the city’s beliefs.
