On Tuesday, a workshop was organized in the premises of Gokulgram Farmer Producer Company located in Naya village of Nakud. The Chief Development Officer said that along with increasing the export of Basmati by scientific method, it will also help in doubling the income of the farmers.
Deputy Agriculture Director Rakesh Kumar Maurya gave detailed information about various schemes run by Farmers Producer Association and Agriculture Department in the workshop. He advised the use of potash to fill the grain and increase the luster in the basmati paddy ear. He gave detailed information to the farmers on the subject of when, how and in how much quantity insecticides should be used in Basmati.
