Crocodile Attacked The Boy Who Went Towards The Farm, Condition Critical

On Thursday, a crocodile attacked the boy who went to the banks of the Daggi drain in the idol village of Kotwali area. After initial treatment at Ghorawal CHC, he was referred to BHU Trauma Center when his condition became critical. Sonu Singh Gurjar (12), son of Suresh Singh, resident of Murti village, was going towards Daggi Nala for defecation on Thursday afternoon. On the way, a crocodile hiding in the field attacked him. Clinging his feet in his mouth, he started pulling it towards him. Sonu’s father Suresh and other villagers, who reached the spot after hearing screams, attacked the crocodile with sticks and somehow freed the child from its clutches. Immediately the family reached Ghorawal CHC with Sonu. After the initial treatment here, the doctors referred the trauma center to Varanasi. On getting information about the incident, Tehsildar Suresh Shukla reached the CHC and inquired about the matter from the relatives of the victim and provided financial assistance of five thousand rupees. Tehsildar Suresh Shukla assured the family of further help.
