Covid -dm Meeting To 3rd Wave – Covid Review Meeting

Kovid: Review of the preparations for the war from the third wave, Padrauna (Kushinagar). The Kovid review meeting was held on Friday in the Collectorate Auditorium. During this, the DM reviewed the preparations being made in view of the possibility of third wave of Kovid epidemic. Presiding over the meeting, DM S. Rajalingam first reviewed the sample in the RTPCR lab. He said that the sampling report should be handed over to him daily. Regular reports should be given to them about how many samples are being collected regularly every day. A case should also be filed against the concerned for refusing to take the sample. In this sequence, in the meeting, he instructed regarding the oxygen plant, ventilator, oxygen pipeline etc. to speed up the pace of work. Any laxity in this work will not be tolerated. Oxygen plant and pipeline related work should be completed at the earliest to meet the challenge of third wave. He said that the pending oxygen plant and pipeline work should be completed on time and at the proposed places in the district. In this sequence, the DM also reviewed the arrangement of medical equipment in the hospitals. He directed the CMO to ensure the availability of X-ray machines, generators and other medical equipment at the earliest. In the meeting, he reviewed the progress of vaccination and instructed to follow the Kovid guidelines at the vaccination centers. On Friday, two new cases of Kovid were reported in the district. Both belong to the Kasaya region. DM directed to conduct contract tracing in related matters. He directed the CMO to pay proper attention to the cases of AES and JE in the district. He also directed for virtual dialogue with the concerned village head and ASHA. CDO Anuj Malik, CMO Dr. Suresh Pataria and concerned officers of health department were present.
