Azamgarh. Tasin Shaikh, head of Madya Village in Kandharapur Police Station, filed an application with the district judge Thursday demanding a four-lane intersection in front of Sixlane Road.
The village chief said that there has been a road leading to the river for many years from the junction of the six-lane road near Idgah in the village of Madya. The road is closed due to the construction of a four-lane road. The villagers requested an intersection from the four-lane road in front of the same road. The villagers sent a letter to UPDA Lucknow on February 15, 2020, requesting the crossing. But nothing has been done to date. If the transition from the village to the river does not exist, people can come to a standstill in their fields, places of worship, cremation sites and in many villages. At the same time, the villagers asked the irrigation office to allow the canal water to drain away. So that the farmers don’t have to deal with the water problem for irrigation.
