Barabanki. The first additional district judge, Sreenetra, did not accept the request for postponement and re-election for the office of district president of Panchayat on July 3rd and only sent a notice to the opposition asking for an objection / response. The next hearing is set for July 15th.
Swaraj Saurabh, a resident of Jhabiya Pur Ibrahimabad village, Harakh Block, filed a motion to vote and said in court that election officer Harakh committed extensive counting irregularities in his district member Panchayat’s constituency. He did not even count 208 votes and wrongly declared the opposition Ram Sajeevan, who lives in the Lakhiapur block of Harakh, to be elected.
The petitioner asked the court to postpone this election. The petitioner has also requested a recount. After the hearing, the court declared elected all 11 opposition parties, including Ram Sajeevan, Electoral Officer Harakh, District Returning Officer, and called an appeal / response by July 15th.
