Doctors advised an HRCT scan for corona’s antigens, and RTPCR tests showed difficulty breathing after the reports were negative. Suddenly the demand for CT scanners increased at the same time, the operators increased the amount by charging five to six thousand rupees per patient, which outweighed the common man. In addition to high resuscitation computed tomography (HRCT) for patients with COVID-19 symptoms, attempts have been made to freeze CT scan rates. According to doctors, HRCT not only detects the presence of the virus in the lungs, but also shows the severity of the infection.
These prices have been announced
– Two thousand rupees (up to 16 slices) for a normal CT scan.
– Rs 2,250 for HRCT scan (16 slices on 64)
– Rs 2,500 for more than 65 discs
The new rates published by the government were implemented with immediate effect. Action will be taken against those affected if the government charges more than the prescribed rate.
