A painful image was seen from the Numaish crematorium in the city on Sunday. Here the corpses were lined up one after the other. In the evening, 20 bodies were reached, the platforms of which were lowered for burial. From now on, corpses will be cremated here on 24 platforms. However, it takes 12 to 18 hours to select the bones. When the 24 platforms came up short, the last rites were performed on the ground itself.
Six new platforms were built in preparation. The platforms here were increased from 16 to 24 in April. Now their total has been reduced to 30. 91 bodies were cremated here between April 10th and 25th. In such a situation, there is an urgent need for a gas powered corpse, the proposal of which has been absent since its inclusion in the Smart City project.
On Sunday afternoon the pyre continued to burn on some of the 24 platforms while some had flowers. After that, when some people arrived with the body, they had to wait. Vishnu Kumar Bunty, President of Manav Upkar Sanstha, built six platforms separate from the previous ones. After that, the last rites were performed here. If Kovid 19 infected and suspected infected patients die, their last rites can be performed here according to the rules. Therefore, the number of corpses here is constantly increasing.
The construction of a crematorium powered by LPG gas was part of the Smart City project. The construction process was driven by the former community commissioner Satyaprakash Patel on the initiative of the former Mandalayak Ayazip Singh and the GS Priyadarshi. Suggested twice. Its value increased from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 85 lakh. But there was no offer.
MP Satish Gautam asked for funds from the MP Fund. Nevertheless, the construction work was suspended. As a result, the gas-powered crematorium, which was completed in March 2020, is still on paper after a year. The reality of the government and system, all of which are making claims of providing better health services to people at the most dangerous stage of corona infection, is that not even a cremation house could be set up in a year.
– Bottlenecks in the construction of gas-powered crematoria will be eliminated immediately so that construction is possible. The construction of this modern facility is necessary for the natural balance. The Mandalayukta and the community commissioner were asked to carry out the relevant construction work at the earliest.

These are the advantages of the gas crematorium
It takes about four thousand rupees to burn a corpse with wood. In the gas crematorium, the corpse burns in one and a half commercial cylinders. If two cylinders were installed, a corpse would cost a maximum of Rs 2200. Apart from that, an advantage will also be that the trees will be felled. Which is an advantage in environmental protection. Apart from that, it also saves time, since the corpse is cremated in fifteen minutes. Flowers are taken out in the pot.
