Darechu’s oxygen plant in Rohania, Varanasi, will start operating today. Now 450 cylinders are filled every day. Because of this, the health department will reduce the problem and provide oxygen to the patient for treatment. Oxygen system tests took place on Tuesday and were successful. From Wednesday, oxygen bottles will be available to the needy every day. 450 oxygen bottles are refilled from this facility every day.

During the day DM Kaushal Raj Sharma inspected and tested the systems. In addition to six plants in the Chandauli district and one in Mirzapur, a plant in Varanasi will now also supply oxygen bottles.

District Judge Kaushal Raj Sharma said the Kamrup industry’s oxygen plant in Darchu, which had been closed for more than three years, was acquired last week under the National Disaster Management Act. Within two days, open suggestions were sought from professionals and the company to guide them. There were five proposals out of which Annapurna Industrial Gas placed the order to operate this facility. In this 10-ton system, the cylinder filling line in the previous system is used.

The LMO is filled daily by a tanker that fills 450 cylinders per day. The quota of all state hospitals in the district has been transferred to this new facility. At the same time, a quota of 150 bottles was given to the institutions that offer refills for oxygen bottles to ordinary people in the city.

Will increase in Benaras 120 The beds
DM said that with the start of this facility, the quota of around 250 cylinders in Chandauli will be free. This will grant a new license for the operation of 10 new private hospitals by granting quotas. This will add about 120 new beds in Varanasi. In this way, operating the new facility will add around 120 new beds and increase the number of cylinders available to the public by 200. Minister of State Ravindra Jaiswal, Cantt MLA Saurabh Srivastava, DM Kaushal Raj Sharma, Joint Industry Commissioner Umesh Singh, inspected and reviewed the system.
