Corona – Another 150 bed L-2 covid hospital built at Ayurveda College

Pilibhit. After the increasing corona infection, the administration of the Ayurveda College is building an L-2 covid hospital with 150 beds. An intensive care unit will also be available in this hospital. The health department is quickly preparing to start the hospital this week.
The 100-bed covid hospital was built in July 2020 after the corona infection outbreak last March in the MCH wing of the district women’s hospital, but the number of patients in the second wave of infections is rising rapidly. 72 patients are currently being admitted to the L-2 Kovid Hospital. In such a situation, the bed crisis can also worsen in the district. Therefore, the administration and the health department decided to build an L-2 covid hospital with 150 beds in the Ayurveda college in good time after the brainstorming. Work there only started last week. Responsibility has been given to Sandeep Kumar, a pharmacist who works at CHC Jehanabad. According to CMO Dr. Seema Aggarwal will have 130 normal beds there. The remaining 20-bed intensive care unit is being built. It will have all facilities including fan, oxygen, concentrator machine. 25 employees will work. For this purpose, a list of health workers was also requested from the Ayurveda College.
CMO said that the preparations in the Ayurveda college are almost complete. It will start this week.
