NHAI project leader Sanjay Kumar Mishra said that some culverts were re-created during the construction of the highway. In some places the old culvert from Upsa has been preserved and widened. The villagers had closed the drain. Too much water in the rain caused soil erosion and the highway was flooded there. At the same time, a three-person committee was formed. Together with this culvert, she will inspect all of Upsa’s old culverts and prepare a report. The construction company carried out the repairs. If the highway has been damaged for five years, it is the company’s responsibility to repair it.
