Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who came to take stock of the flood-affected areas of Maharajganj district, on Saturday made an aerial tour of the flood-affected areas of Farenda and Sadar tehsil areas. After this, met ten flood affected families at GS Public School Shahabad in Brijmanganj area, listened to their problems and also assured all possible help by distributing relief material.During this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government is serious about flood protection and relief work. Relief and rescue operations are being conducted on a war footing in the flood affected areas. Along with this, flood relief material is also being provided to the affected families. He also directed for distribution of relief materials by ensuring the deployment of nodal officers in all the flood affected 155 villages of Maharajganj district within three days.

Along with this, while expressing his and the government’s commitment towards the flood victims, he said that the government stands with you in every situation. But amidst the efforts of the administration, the caution and vigilance of all of you is also important. Referring to the special campaign being launched by the government from tomorrow to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in the villages after the flood subsides, he said that drinking water, sanitation and health services should be made accessible in the flood affected areas. For this, all the departments together make a collective effort.

During this, Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, MLA Bajrang Bahadur Singh, Premsagar Patel, Gyanendra Singh, Jaimangal Kannojia, Amanmani Tripathi, District President Pardesi Ravidas, DM Dr. Ujjwal Kumar, SP Pradeep Gupta, CDO Gaurav Sogarwal etc. were present.
