According to the Department of Archeology, the British had researched here during the British era. English writer GK Bumer wrote the 10th century inscription in the Epigraphia Indica of 1892. According to the villagers, there was also a tunnel between the temple and the fortress, which is now not discovered. People said that at that time the women of the fortress came to the temple from the same tunnel and offered prayers. Every Amavasya and Poornima is a huge mass. The people of the Mohali Kali Bari Lodhi Congregation of Bareilly stop for a week in this temple area and perform Mundane rituals. Lawyer Shivam Kashyap, a resident of the city’s Civil Lines South, worked for many years to give the place a new identity. It was then measured in April 2018 by assistant archaeologist Mahendra Pal and photo officer Mohit Kumar from the Department of Archeology of India. The team sent a report of archaeological exploration and excavation in India, inscribed with the 10th century inscriptions and sculptures. This is a very important site. When excavations take place, many puzzles are revealed. In 2019 the then district judge, Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Mishra, also sent a letter to the director of the Department of Archeology to cooperate on the excavation work on behalf of the county council.
