Unnao. The district administration is preparing to develop villages on the lines of cities. For this, the DM has issued orders to the CDO and DPRO. The DM said that the Panchayat Secretary should visit the village daily and meet the villagers and inquire about their well being. The problems of the villagers should be solved. Daily cleanliness report should be taken.
In Vikas Bhawan auditorium, DM Ravindra Kumar held a review meeting with the officials regarding the ongoing construction works of above 50 lakhs in Vikas Bhawan auditorium, the announcement of the Chief Minister and the Rain Water Harvesting System. Said that manure pits should be dug in every village. For waste management, villages should be made on the lines of cities. Rejuvenation of ponds. Get beautification done by digging dry ponds. Camps should be organized at the block level to give the benefits of the schemes to the eligible. The characters should be linked to the plan. The Panchayat Secretary should work diligently for each individual beneficiary. All government buildings should be connected with rain water harvesting. The ADO told the panchayat that no secretary should have a dongle of the head. Ordered the Block Development Officers to monitor and increase progress in development works.
Referring to the Atal Bhujal Yojana, the DM emphasized on water conservation in the meeting. Said that those wasting water would be marked in the villages. The Executive Engineer has directed the Public Works Department to complete the unfinished works at the earliest. CDO Divyanshu Patel, CMO Dr. Satya Prakash, PD Yashwant Kumar, DDO Manish Kumar were present in the meeting.
