Civic – DM warns, action should be taken if cattle are seen on the road

Unnao. In the meeting at Vikas Bhawan auditorium, the DM gave an ultimatum of action to the BDO, EO and nodal officers on seeing the cattle left on the roads. He bluntly said that if the free cattle are not caught, then those responsible will be given adverse entry.
DM Ravindra Kumar said that no free cattle should be seen roaming on the city and Kanpur-Lucknow highway. The left cattle should be kept in the Cow Protection Center. No animal shelter should be allowed without tagging. Make sure to put tarpaulins on all cowsheds. Warned that if the released animal is not caught then adverse entry will be given. The DM also said that a register of accounts must be maintained at all cow shelters. The DM instructed to issue a stern warning to the doctor who did not do well at the cow protection centers. Said that if the work is not done well in a week, then departmental action will be taken. Inspect the nodal officer, concerned veterinary officer and block development officer of the cow protection center. Make corrections if you see any deficiencies in the system. All BDOs and other officers including CDO Divyanshu Patel, ADM Rakesh Singh were present in the meeting.
