Civic – Development work will be done in 75 villages with Rs 2.16 crore

Nawabganj. After the three-tier Panchayat elections, in the first Kshetra Panchayat meeting, the budget of Rs 2.16 crore received from various items for the development of the village was approved. With this amount, development works will be done in 75 gram panchayats of the block.
The meeting was inaugurated by the chief guest, District Panchayat President Shakun Singh by lighting the lamp on the statue of Mata Saraswati. He appealed for the development work in the village in a fair manner. In the presence of Mohan MLA Brijesh Rawat and block chief Roshni Rawat, in-charge Block Development Officer Manish Kumar informed about getting Rs 1.05 crore from state finance and Rs 1.11 crore from 15th finance. With this amount, housing, toilets, drainage system, drinking water system and connectivity roads will be repaired in 403 habitations of 75 gram panchayats. Block chief representative Ravi Pratap Singh welcomed everyone. The operation was done by Brijesh Yadav, Gram Panchayat Development Officer. Out of 75, 64 village heads and 90 out of 81 BDCs were present.
In-charge BDO informed that rainwater harvesting system will be installed in the block headquarters to store rain water. Due to this rain water will be delivered directly to the womb of the earth. An RO water plant will also be installed in the headquarters for drinking purposes. The birth anniversary of Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant was also celebrated during the meeting itself. The guests garlanded the statue of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, installed in the Atal Library and Reading Room in the Block Headquarters Auditorium.
