Bisalpur. Due to the negligence of the bank employees, a farmer’s sugar cane price payment ended up in the account of a college in Bihar. The farmer makes rounds of the sugar factory and the sugarcane committee to get his payment, but no solution has been found.
Rajpal, a resident of the village of Arjunpur, said that he delivers his sugar cane to the farmers’ cooperative’s sugar factory. Last month his sugarcane price payment of Rs 15,000 was transferred to the county cooperative bank for transfer to his bank account. However, the payment of the sugar cane price was transferred to the account of Gandhi Middle College in Rajpur (Bihar). When the payment of the sugar cane price did not reach the farmer’s bank account for several days, he met with the employees of the Cooperative Sugar Cane Development Company. At the suggestion of committee staff, he met Sepoy Lal, GM of the Farmers Cooperative Sugar Mill, on Wednesday. When the GM informed the employees of the mill’s sugarcane department on the computer of the sugarcane price payment sent by this farmer, it turned out that his payment had come into the college account due to an error made by the bank staff. After checking the college bank account, it was found that the college director had debited this amount from the bank account. When the employees at the sugar factory phoned the headmaster, he did not receive the call.
GM Sepoy Lal said there was a constant effort to speak to the director of the college. The client is asked to reimburse the payment as agreed.
