Civic Amenities – Deputy Director Panchayat found flaws in inspection of Gram Panchayat secretariats, toilets

Puranpur. The Director of Panchayati Raj gave orders for on-site inspection from August 27 to 29 in the districts of slow progress divisions. The responsibility of Bareilly Division was entrusted to Deputy Director Praveen Choudhary. The officers were ordered to conduct on-site inspection of the village secretariat and community complex built in 10 gram panchayats of the district and submit the inspection report along with their photographs. In this sequence, the Deputy Director inspected the panchayat house in Kajri Niranjanpur on Friday and expressed displeasure over the lack of electricity connection and furniture. Instructions were given to get electricity connection soon, to install furniture. Inspected community toilet, Panchayat Ghar in Sherpurkalan Gram Panchayat. The people of the village complained about the supply of water only two or three times after the construction of the water tank in the town. On this, he sought a report from the officers of the Jal Nigam. Expressed anguish over not mentioning the names of Gram Panchayat members and former headmen on the Panchayat Ghar building in Madhotanda. Informed about the meeting in the Panchayat Ghar in a regular month.
