Civic Amenities – Construction of ethanol factory in Amaria to begin in October

Pilibhit. A factory is to be constructed for the production of ethanol in village Kataiyya Pandri of Amaria region. On Wednesday, the Managing Director of the company told about some problems he was facing after meeting the DM. DM has completed the process of license by resolving all the problems immediately. With this, the construction work of the factory will start in October. For the production of ethanol in village Kataiyya Pandri of Tehsil Amaria of the district, there was a problem of having agricultural land for the production of ethanol for many years. On Wednesday, the company’s Managing Director Navneet Agarwal met DM Pulkit Khare and apprised him of the problem. The Managing Director told the DM that there is a problem in getting the agricultural land commercial (143). Due to this the construction of the factory is not even started. On this, DM took the matter seriously and called the concerned officers and got the problem resolved immediately. The Managing Director said that all the licensing process for factory construction has been completed. After the resolution of the problem, the construction work of the factory will start in October at a cost of about six crores. After completion in one year, the factory will be operational in October 2022. Three lakh liters will be prepared daily. Company officials said that the factory based on Praj Technology will be built by Maa Sheetla Distillery Beverages. In which ethanol will be produced from grain. Animal feed would also have been produced for the animals. Three lakh liters of ethanol will be produced daily. Due to which English and country liquor will also be produced. More than one thousand people will get employment, after the construction of the factory, about one thousand people of the area will get direct and indirect employment. With the construction of the factory, the state government will get annual tax of about one hundred crores from many items. This will also benefit the grain growers and rice millers.
