Raipur: A Chhattisgarh authorities official has been suspended for draining a reservoir in Kanker district after he by chance dropped his smartphone within the water.
Rajesh Vishwas, a meals inspector in Kanker district, was having fun with a visit together with his associates when he by chance dropped his Apple iPhone, price Rs 1.5 lakh, within the warehouse.
The incident came about on the Paralkot reservoir in Pakhanjur within the Kanker district on Monday. According to the sources, Vishwas and his associates first looked for the telephone however had been unable to retrieve it.
Vishwas later put in pumps to empty the water from the reservoir. After 4 days, he lastly discovered the telephone.
The pumping operation started on Monday and continued by means of Thursday night time.
Janmejay Nayak, a senior official within the district administration, mentioned: “Rajesh Vishwas has been suspended.”
