Chandauli: Irrigation problem due to low pollution

Kandwa. Located on the banks of the Karmanasha River at the far end of the district, the approximately one kilometer long Minor Jharkhand is connected to the Karauti Pump Canal. Near the village of Karauti on the bank of the Karmanasha River, a pump channel with a capacity of 2.5 cusec was installed. A miner about a kilometer long came out of the pumping channel to irrigate the farmers’ fields. This irrigates hundreds of Bigha’s farmland for dozens of farmers in Karauti village. This half-baked paved minor is currently covered with bushes. Farmers Ajay Pandey, Ramakant Pandey, Nanhaku Ram, Jeevnath Yadav, Kedar, Hadish, Shahabuddin, Banmali Pandey, Laxman etc. claim that the canal has not been cleaned in the past three to four years. This prevents the water from reaching the tail farmers’ fields. A lack of water makes it difficult to irrigate the fields. A complaint has been filed with senior officials in the department. Even so, the minor was not cleaned. Now is the time for agriculture again. In such a situation, the problem of irrigation is once again before the farmers. The farmers demanded a solution to the problem by making the district administrator aware of it. Warned that if the minor is not cleaned soon, there will be a stir.
