More than a hundred people charged in the case of bondage
Angry villagers cut the Nautar dam on Saturday due to lack of drainage
Samvad news agency
Pit. The administration has taken a tough stand to cut the Nautar dam on behalf of the angry villagers for lack of drainage. In this case, the police recorded a case against more than a hundred strangers under difficult sections.
The waters of the overflowing Turkahan River caused damage to houses, streets and crops. The villagers cut through the embankment on Saturday because no water drains from the siphon of the Hum pipe built in the Nautar dam to drain the water. The angry people were appeased by persuasion by the SDM and CO. Regional MLAs also came to explain to people. Villagers said that due to the lack of a proper drainage system, around 15 villages and 5000 acres of arable land are affected, while the flood block engineers said the permit and money from senior officials is needed for the regulator or other arrangement. If the river’s water level rises through the cut of the dam, engineers say the river’s water will enter the back through this drain and devastate the village.
In this context, SO Pankaj Gupta of the Hanumanganj Police Station said that, following reports from the SDO of Barhkhand, a case against more than a hundred strangers had been registered under various departments.
