Cannot Tolerate Privatization Of Railway Assets – Santosh

PDDU Nagar. Indian Railway Employees Federation’s national vice president Santosh Paswan has expressed displeasure over Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s statement of giving the country’s national assets, including railways, in private hands. Said that no proposal to sell the railways would be accepted.
Santosh Paswan said that the infrastructure of the country has been developed by the employees and the people of the country by working hard and spending crores of rupees. Now it is ready to be sold. It is in a way like creating a company rule in the country. If the assets of railways are monetised and handed over to multinational companies, domestic and foreign, it will increase the rates of passenger fares and freight rates. Sports- Privatization of stadiums will stop the development of sports talent. Said that a united front of all unions and associations of railways has been formed under the National Movement to Save Railway. A big struggle will be waged against the government’s national monetization plan by mobilizing workers, farmers, intellectuals, youth, students and women across the country.
