Box Office – Thor: Love and Thunder set to get into the 90s, JugJugg Jeeyo paced towards the 85 crores mark :Bollywood Box Office
Thor: Love and Thunder is now very close to the Rs. 90 billion mark and would aim to enter the prestigious Rs in a short period of time. 100 crore club. Although by then it had become almost the norm for Hindi films with 10-15 centuries set to music every year, it was still not that common for Hollywood releases. Now, in the post-pandemic times, however, it turns out it’s a reverse scenario, as Marvel movies have been hit for centuries and now regularly Thor: Love and Thunder will be another welcome addition to the list.
The film collected Rs. 3.50 crores* on Sunday, which was a further improvement over the Saturday collections. With that, the Marvel superhero flick has now touched Rs. 89 crores*. Of course, at one point it had looked like the film would be over by the second weekend and easily surpassed the Rs. 110 billion mark. However, the crash for the film was so great from Monday’s opening that it now manages to rake in so much simply because there is no worthy competition from Bollywood.
Steps can seep in for this Jug Jugg Jeeyo as well as managed to see Rs. 1.20 crores* come in on his fourth Sunday. This is indeed the last time the film will see a tag go past the Rs. 1 crore mark as it has four more days to collect in the first place and then it would hardly be a few lakhs added to its grand total, courtesy – arriving from shamshera. Nonetheless, the best that could have come for the film has already happened and those involved will not have many complaints, given the grand total of Rs. 83.57 crores*.
