New Delhi: Akshay Kumar, who basks on the success of his recently released film Emperor PrithvirajThe actor is busy shooting for his next film, which is a Hindi remake of Suriya’s blockbuster film sorarai potru, Now, for the past few days, rumors are doing the rounds that Suriya will be seen in a cameo. Now, confirming the reports, the actor has shared a picture with Akshay Kumar on his Instagram handle. Along with the image, she penned a note that read, “It was nostalgic to see you Akshay Kumar sir as #Veer! Sudha Kongara can see our story being beautifully re-lived by the #maara team in a brief cameo # Enjoyed every minute with sooraraipootru Hindi!”.

sorarai potru, released in 2020, received positive reviews from critics and audiences. In the film, Suriya played the role of Nedumaran Rajaangam (Mara), a former Air Force officer.

Soon after Suriya stepped down, Akshay Kumar, who will play the lead role in the Hindi remake sorarai potru, re-shared the post on his Instagram handle and wrote a lovely reply to Suriya. Hindi remake of, starring Sudha Kongara sorarai potru It also stars Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal. The film is inspired by events in the life of Simplify Deccan founder GR Gopinath, who dreamed of starting a low-cost airline in India. Shooting began in April, and the makers are yet to announce the release date of the film.
