Jersey Box Office: Shahid Kapoor starrer earns Rs. 60 lakhs in week 3; Total collection Rs. 19.63 Crore : Bollywood Box Office
Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey which was initially expected to release in December last year finally hit the screens a few weeks back. The film which was the official remake of Nani starrer by the same name was not really expected to open in large numbers. The jersey business didn’t really grow much after a slow start.
Now in its third week, Jersey has managed to pull out another Rs. 60 lakhs. Along with this, the total collection of Shahid Kapoor starrer film is Rs. 19.63 crores These low-key collections are being attributed to several delays, with the film facing heavy competition at the box office from previous releases KGF – Chapter 2, and RRR. Its second and third weeks saw new releases affecting Jersey’s business such as Runway 34, Heropanti 2, and the Hollywood film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Going forward, Jersey has stopped running in theaters. With some locations still screening the film, Jersey doesn’t really expect to see its collections increase.
