Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are getting married in Las Vegas

Celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married in Las Vegas this weekend, 18 years after their first romance fell through, court records showed.

The couple married on Saturday, according to a marriage certificate they filed in Clark County, Nevada, which was viewed by AFP.

It lists the parties to the wedding as Affleck, Benjamin Geza and Lopez, Jennifer and gives the latter’s “new name” as Affleck, Jennifer.

The couple first met on the set of the widely circulated film “gigli” in 2002.

They became a media sensation when they began dating but postponed their planned wedding in 2003 and then announced the end of their relationship in early 2004.

“Bennifer” – the couple’s public nickname from their first high-profile relationship – ignited the internet last year when photos of them together circulated again.

Jennifer Lopez, 52, and Ben Affleck, 49, announced their engagement in April.

This is Jennifer Lopez’s fourth marriage and Ben Affleck’s second.

Jennifer Lopez was previously married to actor Ojani Noa, dancer Cris Judd and singer Marc Anthony, with whom she shares 14-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Ben Affleck was married to actress Jennifer Garner and they are the parents of Violet (16), Seraphina (13) and Samuel (10).
