Indo-American Sri Saini from the US is the Miss World 2021 first runner-up; Poland’s Karolina Biwaleska won the crown


It is a proud moment for every Indian who has settled abroad as US-based Indian-American Sri Saini emerged as the first runner up in the Miss World 2021 event. To note, the diva was representing the United States at the prestigious event on March 16 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall, Puerto Rico. It was a tough competition among beauty queens from all over the world and it was Poland’s Karolina Biwaleska who was crowned as the 70th Miss World.

Meanwhile, Olivia Yeses of Cote d’Ivoire was announced as the second runner-up at Miss World 2021. The big news was announced on the official page of Miss World with a picture of Miss World and the first and second runner up. Mr. Saini is the first Indian-American to be crowned Miss World America 2021 and represents the US at the event, in which she won the Beauty with a Purpose pageant. Ahead of the prestigious event, Mr. Saini shared a post on social media urging his fans to wish him well.

Sharing a picture of himself dressed up as Miss World and giving a glimpse of his preparations, Mr Saini wrote, “Miss World Started! When I was just 6 years old, I dressed up as Miss World, because I saw Miss World as a superhero. A woman who serves with her loving heart. This has been my deepest desire since I was little. Please all pray. Thanks a lot”.

Manasa Varanasi represented India at the 70th Miss World pageant and was able to make it to the top 13 contestants. To recall, India won the coveted crown in 2017 when Manushi Chhillar won the title.
