In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Saurabh Raj Jain talks about his Holi plans. The actor says that he is going to celebrate the big day with his family. “We are all going to celebrate together at home. Not going anywhere outside,” informed Saurabh. He says that he has got some invitations for Holi parties as well. “But I think keeping in mind the kids especially, I don’t feel like taking them out in the crowd as of now. So if I may say, this is the reason why I am keeping it under control,” explains the actor .
He adds, “Maybe next year we will go out and celebrate. The pandemic has passed like we don’t hear news about corona like before, but still I think it’s still going on, So why take the risk when you have kids and elders in your house.” Meanwhile, Saurabh shared that he used to be extremely excited for the festival of colors as a child.
“But from class 8th or 9th the enthusiasm was not so much because the knowledge of not wasting water and all those things came to the fore through schooling. But Holi is not only about water and colours, but also about sweets (sweets), and meeting the people around, your relatives and your friends. Then of course you can play with gulal and dry colours, so I am always looking forward to it,” shared the actor.
Saurabh also remembers his favorite Holi. “I was born and brought up in Delhi, so we used to have these clubs, and they used to host these big celebrations on Holi. They used to play Holi with sandalwood paste and with all different delicacies and sweets. They would also have stand up acts, dance performances and all that stuff. So it used to be memorable,” he concluded.
