
Freddy Review: Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F’s performances elevate this story of love and betrayal

Director Shashank Ghosh’s thriller revolves around a lover, Freddy (played by Kartik Aaryan), an untrusting dentist who is looking for his life partner. After several failed attempts and a couple of faloods, he finds love in the already married Kainaaz (played by Alaya F), who finds herself stuck in an unhappy marriage. Like many love stories, this one also comes with challenges from her, some truly unexpected. How this plays out and how it affects the future of Freddie and the Cainage is something you get to see in the movie.

Two things mostly work for the movie: Freddy’s character graphic, which looks but Karthik’s performance adds to the overall experience, and the second is the second half of the movie, which is about the central characters experiencing a variety of emotions. results in many right and wrong decisions
While director Shashank Ghosh executes these twists and turns well in the last sixty minutes of the film, supporting this linear story form is the lenses of director of photography (DOP) Ayanka Bose and production designer Rajat Poddar Hay. designs that appeal to you. Freddie’s world. The sequences filmed at Freddy’s farm in Karjat, both romantic and terrifying, look stunning on the big screen. Background score by Clinton Cerejo helps the images to enhance their exciting effect. Vaibhav Vishant’s casting is excellent, while Amritpal Singh’s action choreography also works in the project’s favor.

The first half of the film, which largely focuses on the romance of Freddy and Kainaz. In a thriller, subgenres are expected to evolve quickly, leaving room for a more biting narrative continuation, which Freddy can’t do. The story and the screenwriter Parvez Shaikh could have paid a bit more attention to polish this part. Dialogue writer Aseem Arora has tried to make the lines relevant, though his words lose their soul along the way. The music composed by Pritam does not connect either.
