Dhanush calls ex-wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth a ‘friend’ as he congratulates her on new music video

Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s separation announcement had shocked their fans and concerned family members. The couple called off their 18-year-long marriage and requested their fans and followers to give them privacy. Their respective families are trying to persuade them to live together. But looks like Dhanush and Aishwarya have already moved on in life, at least, their recent joke on Twitter gives an impression. Aishwarya’s new song Payani was released on social media by her father and superstar Rajinikanth. Dhanush also shared the link of the video and praised his ex-wife as a friend. He tweeted, “Congratulations my friend @ash_r_dhanush on your music video #payani. God bless.” To which, Aishwarya replied, “Thank you…. Aishwarya returns to direction after a gap of 9 years with Payani. The Tamil song is sung by Anirudh, music by Ankit Tiwari and lyrics by Viveka. It stars Jani Master and Srishti Verma. Rajinikanth also wished his daughter on the release of her new music video. He tweeted, “Happy to release the music single ‘Payani’ directed by my daughter Aishwarya, returning to direction after a long gap of 9 years. I wish you all the very best.

Late on Monday night, January 17, Dhanush and Aishwarya penned a letter that read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, parents and well-wishers of each other. The journey of growth, understanding, adjustment and Today, we stand at a place where our paths are different. Aishwarya and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please respect our decision and give us the necessary confidentiality to deal with it.” They have two sons, Yatra and Linga.
